Ana Hazel is a 29-year-old writer from New England and the author of the new novel Drowning Lessons. Drawing from her experiences growing up as a Mexican-American child in the US, Ana crafts stories woven with positive representations of the culture and people, even when they're not the main character. Diverse sexualities are well-represented throughout her work from the main characters to the side characters, and Ana considers herself a loud and proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. When not writing, Ana spends her time blowing out her eardrums with music blasted at ridiculous volumes, or reading thrillers and romances.
